College ties

Cliftonville reported for pre-season training yesterday as boss Jim Magilton welcomed his players to the impressive facilities at Greenmount College.

A fortnight before their opening friendly with Portadown on July 8, the Reds were put through their paces under the watchful eye of the new Manager, who enjoyed a first-hand look at his players just days before the release of the Sports Direct Premiership fixtures.

After that encounter with the Ports, Cliftonville will be on their travels to face Crumlin United, Ballyclare Comrades and Lisburn Distillery before welcoming Finn Harps to Solitude as the countdown to the 2023/24 season gathers pace.
