Ladies’ numbers are up

After contributing to a record-breaking day for Cliftonville Ladies’ first home game of the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership season, we’re calling on our supporters to come out and back the Champions again tomorrow night.

More than 500 supporters saw the Reds begin their defence of the title with a 3-0 victory over Linfield Women last month and, having since enjoyed a 9-0 win over Derry City Women before eliminating St James Swifts Ladies from the County Antrim Cup, John McGrady’s side bring Premiership action back to Solitude when they host Mid Ulster Ladies tomorrow evening.

The biggest game-week in Women’s Premiership history saw almost 1400 fans flock to the opening round of matches on April 24 and, with more than a third of that number watching Cliftonville, it’s clear that more supporters than ever are eager to be part of our Ladies team’s journey – and, with cash turnstile prices set at just £4 and £1, there’s no better way to kick your weekend off than by roaring on the Reds.
