Cliftonville brought the curtain down on their Danske Bank Premiership commitments with a lacklustre defeat at home to Linfield this evening.

Ahead through Jimmy Callacher’s early header, the Blues doubled their advantage courtesy of Chris Shields’ second-half penalty in a contest that was devoid of incident thereafter until Rory Hale’s late red card following an altercation with Kyle McClean.
