Moore’s caps lock

Congratulations to Sean Moore, who made his debut for the Republic of Ireland Under-19s in this evening’s European Championship Elite Round qualifier with Greece.

The Cliftonville winger – who had been nursing an injury in advance of this week’s other games against Slovakia and Estonia – was introduced just past the hour at Ferrycarig Park, where he came on in place of Inter Milan’s Kevin Zefi.

The 1-0 defeat saw Tom Mohan’s side finish in third position in Group 5, four points behind tonight’s opponents, who have qualified for this summer’s Euro Finals in Malta.
