Charities’ support act

As well as representing Cliftonville Football Club in exemplary fashion on their travels this week, our supporters’ trip to Slovakia has also helped make a positive impression closer to home.

The organisation of the buses that covered our fans’ return journeys from Bratislava to Dunajska Streda for the Europa Conference League first qualifying round encounter with DAC at MOL Arena has resulted in an excess of £200 being generated – and those leftover funds will now be donated to some charities back here in Belfast.

With thanks to the North Belfast Reds CSC and Jonny Addis CSC, Pretty ‘N Pink and Cancer Lifeline in Ardoyne have been selected as the beneficiaries of these contributions and we are very pleased to offer our particular backing to Norman Cunningham’s Cycle For Gemma, which you can lend your own support to here.
