Buses to Bratislava

Cliftonville Football Club understands that the majority of supporters who are travelling to Slovakia for the first leg of our Europa Conference League tie with DAC on July 7 will be staying in Bratislava.

We wish to advise those fans that there is no public transport back to Bratislava after the game, which kicks off at 8.30pm local time. Some of our Supporters Clubs have arranged buses for this journey and we would encourage you to get in touch with them urgently in order to secure any remaining seats. Contact either Kevin Johnston (07841683451) or Cillian Nugent (07926676731) for details.

Anyone who will not be availing of this service is asked to ensure they have personal arrangements in place for transportation from the town of Dunajska Streda (where DAC’s MOL Arena is situated) and Bratislava.

Match ticket information will be shared as soon as the Club has received full details from our opponents.

DAC have, however, advised that, as per Slovakian and UEFA regulations, tickets – which will cost €12 (£11) – will only be sold on an individual basis and that person must present their valid passport at the point of purchase.

At the time of sale, a note will be taken of passport details and recorded against the ticket purchased. Multiple purchases will not be available and the passport holder must be present at the time of sale. At the MOL Arena turnstiles, both match ticket and passport are required. Information will be checked and both must match in order to gain entry.

The Club are endeavoring to secure tickets from DAC ahead of the game and, if successful, these will be available at Solitude prior to travel. We must, however, emphasise that they can only be sold by Cliftonville FC under the terms set out above and each person seeking a ticket must purchase in person and produce their passport – copies are not acceptable.

Further details will be announced in due course.
