Cliftonville Ladies came through a nervy night to book their place in the Women’s Premiership League Cup Final.

After 90 goalless minutes against Lisburn Ladies this evening, extra-time failing to separate the teams meant the contest would be settled from the penalty spot.

Despite falling behind in the shootout, a Rachael Norney save swung momentum back in the Reds’ direction, with Roise Thompson converting what proved to be the winner in a 5-4 success.
