Fi’s hungry for Mor

Fi Morgan says she and her Cliftonville Ladies team-mates know the significance of this evening’s County Antrim Cup first round tie with Linfield.

The Reds travel to Midgley Park off the back of a strong start to the season that has seen them score 10 goals without conceding en route to pocketing maximum points in their opening two Danske Bank Women’s Premiership outings.

Tonight’s change in competition will not, however, present a deviation in focus for Morgan, who makes clear she wants to win every time she represents the Club.

“We have had a great start to this season, though we want more,” she says.

“We just need to be level-headed and take it game by game and getting each win in a must.

“No matter who our opposition is, we want to win. It doesn’t matter who we play, every game is important, but Cliftonville against Linfield is always a big game no matter what age group, Men’s or Women’s.”
