Right on queue

Ahead of Cliftonville’s first home match in five weeks, supporters are reminded of the recently-introduced queuing system that will be in place at the turnstiles for this evening’s Danske Bank Premiership fixture with Linfield.

With a capacity home crowd descending upon the sold-out affair, Club Members and Season Ticket holders are invited to follow directional signage to gain entrance to the ground.

While this practice has been introduced to both alleviate queues and allow for quicker access, supporters are still kindly requested to arrive at Solitude as early as possible, ideally at least 30 minutes prior to kick-off.

Turnstiles will be operational from 4.30pm and will not be held open for late arrivals.

Fans should have their tickets ready for scanning as they approach the turnstile and, while printed tickets are preferred, tickets correctly downloaded onto mobile devices as PDFs are acceptable. Please do not take a screenshot as these are difficult to scan. Any person presenting a ticket that cannot be scanned may be refused entry. This will also apply to any person using a ticket that indicates it has already been used for entry.

The Club reserves the right to refuse to scan screenshots of codes and deny admittance. Similarly, please do not attempt to use phones with cracked screens. We advise that Members and Season Ticket holders use their cards for scanning.

Unfortunately, we must again refer to spectator behaviour. As you may be aware, the Club have had major sanctions imposed this season due to repeated incidents. These include missiles being thrown, offensive signing/chanting and the use of spoke bombs, flares etc. We ask that you assist the Club in ensuring none of these are repeated. We know that such actions are carried out by persons who have no regard for the Club whatsoever, but we ask you, the loyal Cliftonville supporters, to assist and co-operate with stewards at all times.

Our team have excelled this season, so let’s get behind them with Cliftonville songs from the start and not those that have absolutely no relevance to our Club.

Your support is appreciated.
