Cliftonville Ladies are delighted to this evening announce the signings of Danielle Maxwell, Shauna Murphy and Abbie Magee.

Formerly with Glentoran, 19-year-old forward Maxwell has been capped four times by Northern Ireland and adds to the rich international experience that already exists in the ranks at Solitude, while GAA goalkeeper Murphy has represented Fermanagh at county level.

The versatile Magee, meanwhile, can operate in both defence and midfield and, like Maxwell, the ex-Linfield ace – who recently completed nine months’ rehabilitation after suffering a knee ligament injury – was part of the Northern Ireland squad that last month undertook a three-game training camp in Marbella.

Cliftonville Ladies will kick off the new Danske Bank Women’s Premiership season with a trip to face Sion Swifts Ladies in exactly seven weeks’ time and, as preparations for the 2022 campaign continue, all at the Club extend a warm welcome to tonight’s recruits.
