Reds running Lowe

Cliftonville Football Club are delighted to announce that Kris Lowe has signed a contract extension.

The 26-year-old, who joined from Dungannon Swifts in January 2021, quickly established himself as a key player at Solitude and has demonstrated extensive versatility in his 63 appearances for the Reds to date.

A midfielder by trade, Kris has also operated in central defensive and full-back roles in his 13 months at the Club, with supporters no doubt looking forward to seeing him continue to flourish in a Cliftonville shirt following news of his extended stay.

“Kris has been absolutely fantastic for us this season,” said Manager Paddy McLaughlin.

“I’ve said before that I’m not sure Kris knows or understands what a bad performance is, he’s consistently good game after game and it will be great to see him develop further in the coming years.”

Chairman Paul McKeown, meanwhile, added: “I’m delighted that Kris has agreed to remain with us until at least the end of the 2024/25 season.

“He has been a fantastic performer for us over the past year and I’m sure I speak for everyone at the Club when I say I’m looking forward to seeing more of the same from him.”
