Beware social media scammers

With a number of vital all-ticket matches on the horizon, Cliftonville supporters are advised to be cautious of the rise of social media scammers purporting to be conducting sales of their own.

Often portraying themselves in the guise of a fan who has bought tickets but can no longer attend the game in question for spurious reasons, these fraudsters are most prevalent on Facebook and, while our social media admin do all they can to remove such comments and block the accounts behind them, we are mindful that one or two may slip through the net from time to time and ask all supporters to be wary of ever interacting with these scam profiles.

Likewise, do not follow their invitation to move the discussion to private messaging, where they invariably ask for payment via PayPal.

The ONLY place to secure tickets for any of Cliftonville’s upcoming fixtures is via the official online outlets indicated below.

The Reds host Crusaders and Coleraine on Danske Bank Premiership and Samuel Gelston’s Whiskey Irish Cup quarter-final duty respectively over the course of the next week ahead of meeting the Bannsiders in the League Cup Final on Sunday, March 13.

All tickets for the upper tier of the North Stand have sold out and, with the lower tier expected to reach capacity soon, Cliftonville fans are encouraged to guarantee their seats as quickly as possible.
