City make their Case

Cliftonville Football Club confirms that Odhrán Casey has this evening joined Lough 41 Championship leaders Newry City on loan for the remainder of the season.

A product of the Reds’ Academy, the 19-year-old, who can operate in both defence and midfield, has been part of the set-up at Solitude since he was 12 and was handed his senior debut – the first of 13 competitive outings for the first team – by Caretaker Manager Michael Press in a Danske Bank Premiership fixture with Glenavon in January 2019.

He joins a promotion-chasing Newry side currently sat eight points clear at the top of the Championship and everyone at Cliftonville wishes Odhrán and indeed City well for the rest of the campaign.
