Hamper movement

The People’s Foodbank have this month distributed Christmas Hampers to more than 1,000 families in the local community following a host of festive donations to their Christmas With Dignity campaign – and Cliftonville Football Club are proud of the Red Army’s contribution to the sum.

Our supporters demonstrated their typically renowned enthusiasm for the Foodbank Collection held at Solitude prior to the Danske Bank Premiership fixture with Ballymena United on December 4 when, in addition to a significant quantity of edible goods, considerable cash donations were also made.

The People’s Foodbank, formerly known as our long-term partners at the North Belfast Advice Partnership, have expressed their sincere gratitude for our fans’ latest backing of this annual occasion and Cliftonville FC likewise outlines our continued support and admiration for the group, whom we would urge the Red Army to make their own regular donations – no matter how big or small – to in a bid to ensure that those around us who need our help can benefit from it all year round.
