O’Neill is spot on for NI

Paul O’Neill was among the scorers as Northern Ireland Under-21s overcame Lithuania 4-0 in this afternoon’s European Championship qualifier at the Ballymena Showgrounds.

The Cliftonville striker netted the second goal of the game when he stroked home from the penalty spot after Alfie McCalmont had put the home side in front.

McCalmont added the third and Chris Conn Clarke made it 4-0 as Northern Ireland banked their second win of the campaign ahead of facing Malta at Mourneview Park on Tuesday night.
