Wembley wonders

All four Cliftonville players in the Northern Ireland Women’s squad featured in this evening’s World Cup qualifier with England at Wembley Stadium.

International captain Marissa Callaghan joined Kelsie Burrows in the starting line-up, while Kirsty McGuinness (pictured) and Louise McDaniel made substitute appearances in the second-half.

The hosts would claim a 4-0 victory on the night thanks to Beth Mead’s hat-trick and an additional strike from Bethany England as Kenny Shiels’ side turn their attentions to Tuesday’s Seaview showdown with Austria.
