Six Cliftonville players were part of the Northern Ireland Women’s Under-19 squad that suffered a 3-1 defeat to Switzerland in their opening Euro 2022 qualifying Group A5 clash yesterday.

Reds defender Fi Morgan captained the side, which also included Solitude team-mates Shona Davis, Abbie McHenry (pictured) and Grace McKimm in the starting XI.

Rachael Norney and Erin Montgomery were unused substitutes for the game at Limerick’s Jackman Park, where Northern Ireland will face England on Saturday ahead of tackling the Republic of Ireland at Market’s Field on Tuesday.
