New Chairman elected
Cliftonville Football Club are delighted to confirm Paul McKeown’s appointment as Chairman following last night’s Annual General Meeting at Solitude.
Lifelong Reds fan Paul, who assumed a Marketing and Communications role two years ago and has been acting as Interim Chair of the Club since Gerard Lawlor stepped down at the beginning of last month, has been a familiar face around Solitude for a number of decades and was warmly welcomed as Chairman following his ratification by Club Members.
In assuming his new post, Paul joined a host of individual Members in thanking his predecessor for his many years of dedicated service, with all at Cliftonville Football Club echoing those sentiments and wishing Gerard well in his job with the NI Football League.
In addition to Adrian Keenan’s re-election as Facilities Director, Club Members were also pleased to welcome Pedro Donald to the Management Committee.
Jack Patterson was, meanwhile, elected President of Cliftonville FC after Sean McClean’s term came to an end and, as well as offering best wishes to Jack in his new position, gratitude is extended to Sean for his sterling efforts in office.
