The month ahead: October

Tonight’s Danske Bank Premiership clash with Linfield represents the first of six fixtures Cliftonville face across three competitions in October.

Following the Windsor Park tie, the Reds travel to Clandeboye Park for a League Cup second round date with Ards on October 13 before hosting Larne in the Premiership three days later.

The subsequent midweek sees Paddy McLaughlin’s side in County Antrim Shield quarter-final action against an as-yet-undetermined opponent ahead of a trip to face Ballymena United on the 23rd.
