Lux good for Callaghan

Marissa Callaghan was among the scorers as Northern Ireland Women commenced their World Cup qualifying campaign with a 4-0 victory over Luxembourg in Larne this evening.

The international skipper opened the scoring with a 15th minute finish at Inver Park, where Cliftonville team-mate Kirsty McGuinness was also in the starting XI, while both Louise McDaniel and Caitlin McGuinness appeared as second-half substitutes.

Everyone at the Club wishes the quartet – as well as fellow Red Kelsie Burrows – further best wishes for Tuesday night’s encounter with Latvia at Windsor Park.
