Paul McKeown appointed Interim Chair

Cliftonville FC are pleased to announce that Paul McKeown has agreed to take up the position as Interim Chair of the Club.

Gerard Lawlor oversaw his final meeting of the Management Committee last night, when Mr McKeown was affirmed to assume the role until the Club’s forthcoming Annual General Meeting.

A Cliftonville supporter since his youth, Paul has been a familiar face around Solitude for a number of decades and joined the committee as Commercial Director two years ago.

Ahead of Mr Lawlor’s last game as Reds Chairman this evening, Paul placed on record his thanks to Gerard for the many years of hard work which brought unprecedented success to the Club and wished him the very best of luck as he prepares to take up his new job as Chief Executive Officer of the NI Football League.
