The month ahead: August

Cliftonville face a minimum of four fixtures in August as pre-season preparations make way for the return of Danske Bank Premiership action.

After travelling to Brandywell Stadium for a behind-closed-doors friendly with Institute on Tuesday night, the Reds welcome Derry City to Solitude next Monday.

Though the potential exists for an additional warm-up game to be pencilled in for Saturday, August 14, as things stand, Paddy McLaughlin’s side will next be in action when they play host to Carrick Rangers on the opening weekend of the new League campaign.

Coleraine then visit Solitude on the 31st to complete the month’s schedule – so be sure to add all of those dates to your diary as the Reds gear up for the start of the 2021/22 campaign.
