Solitude this week played host to the Cliftonville FC Summer Camp, where skills were developed and new friendships were made across daily doses of fun and games.
Boys and girls of various ages were delighted to step on to our plush new pitch where, in addition to honing their talents under our the guidance of our dedicated coaching team, they competed for prizes and showcased their abilities amid what were best described as contrasting weather conditions throughout the week.
Our thanks go to all the kids who made the occasion such a success, not to mention the parents who dutifully dropped their sons and daughters off each day, while we also extend gratitude to our Head of Youth Development, Marc Smyth, and his staff for staging such a wonderful experience on the youngsters’ behalf.
The second phase of our Summer Camp is scheduled to kick off next Monday, with sessions again being held between 9.30am-1.30pm at a cost of £40 per child (with discounts for families).
Bookings can be made online here but, with interest typically high, anyone keen to reserve their place is advised to do so as soon as possible, while enquiries can be made by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org (boys section) and email@example.com (girls section).
