Cliftonville Ladies will face Lisburn Rangers Ladies in the quarter-finals of the Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup.

The Reds booked their place in the last-eight courtesy of Friday night’s dramatic victory over Linfield Ladies at New Midgley Park.

Behind early on, quickfire efforts from Fi Morgan and Abbie McHenry put John McGrady’s side in front, with Caitlin McGuinness’ 87th minute winner sealing progress after the Blues had dragged themselves level from the penalty spot.

Lisburn Rangers, meanwhile, booked their place courtesy of a 3-1 win against derby rivals Lisburn Ladies and will have home advantage when they tackle Cliftonville in Electric Ireland’s Tie of the Round on Friday, July 23.
