Whole different Bag
Liam Bagnall says the absence of supporters from tomorrow’s North Belfast Derby will not lessen Cliftonville’s desire to come out on top.
The Reds host the Crues in a behind-closed-doors Danske Bank Premiership clash and, having been narrowly defeated when the sides locked horns at the end of October, Bagnall is understandably keen to redress the balance.
Speaking in the latest edition of our Matchday Magazine, Bagnall admits: “We’ll still feel the pressure without doubt, even though it will be different without our supporters behind us.
“The North Belfast Derby is a great game to play in against Crusaders. We came out the wrong side of the first one at Seaview earlier in the season and hopefully we can put things right and get the win and start to close the gap on the teams above us.”
You can read the full Bagnall interview in tomorrow’s digital edition of The Red Eye, which will be available here on cliftonvillefc.net ahead of kick-off.
Featuring pre-match views from the Manager’s Office, The Red Eye’s 10th issue of the campaign carries all the stats behind the Reds’ recent form and a look at the Crues’ progress – plus plenty more besides.
