The month ahead: January

Cliftonville are solely on Danske Bank Premiership duty in January – with seven mouth-watering fixtures to kick 2021 off with.

After tomorrow’s encounter with Dungannon Swifts at Stangmore Park, the Reds host Crusaders in the North Belfast Derby rearranged from St Stephen’s Day before travelling to take on Glentoran on the 12th.

On January 16, the BBC will live stream the Solitude showdown with Larne, with Cliftonville also part of a live broadcast when they travel to Ballymena United the following Friday night.

A midweek duel with Linfield follows ahead of Paddy McLaughlin’s side concluding the month by tackling Glenavon at Solitude on the 30th – so add all of those dates to your diary as the Reds bid to stitch together a strong start to the New Year.
