Time to float your vote
Today’s victory over Carrick Rangers saw Cliftonville end October on a positive note, but who do you think was the team’s best player during the month?
Goals from Michael McCrudden and Joe Gormley got the better of Knockbreda in the Reds’ first outing of the season before passage to the semi-finals of the County Antrim Shield was secured with a 7-2 defeat of Dundela that saw Gormley bag four in addition to a brace by Chris Curran and close-range finish from namesake Ryan.
The latter was also on target when Glentoran were overcome on the opening weekend of Danske Bank Premiership action and, though Cliftonville would suffer North Belfast Derby defeat to Crusaders in what was their only away fixture during the run, Thomas Maguire would open the door to a return to winning ways against Carrick, with McMenamin and Gormley rounding things off.
