Pitching in again

It wasn’t just Cliftonville’s senior side who recently made a long overdue return to action, a host of teams from the Club’s Academy have been enjoying getting back on to the pitch.

Be it training or matches, our young players have been making the most of working alongside their team-mates and coaches after a long period of inactivity, while Head of Youth Development Marc Smyth was delighted to oversee our Under 5s contest their first ever fixture.

Opponents including Shankill, Glentoran, Belfast Celtic and Shamrock Rovers have all played their part in our Academy kids getting back in the swing of things and we look forward to seeing them continuing to display their talents in the weeks and months ahead.
