Shamrock and roll

Cliftonville’s current reverse strip is the latest candidate to make progress to the next stage of our Away Kit Battle.

With hundreds of Reds fans having participated in this weekend’s poll, the white jersey with a panel of shamrocks on the chest – which was introduced in the summer of 2018 – took 63% of the vote to book its spot in the last 16 at the expense of the green shaded top it replaced as Cliftonville’s change strip.

The defeated shirt will not, however, drop out of the race entirely and will later join the other first phase losers in a second-chance saloon as we bid to compile the definitive list of the Club’s best and worst away kits of the last 30 years.

Everyone will naturally have their own favourite efforts and, with just a few days to wait until our next head-to-head battle, have you decided which strip you’d vote for out of any given combination?
