Season suspended further

The Irish FA have this evening announced that the suspension of all football under its auspices has been extended until May 31.

As was the case with the previous suspensions which had been scheduled to lift on April 4 and 30 respectively, the IFA Board’s decision – which has been taken in the interests of public health as well as that of of players, match officials, staff and volunteers – will remain under constant review amid ongoing protective measures against the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
