Split ticket

Last night’s 3-1 victory over Carrick Rangers confirmed Cliftonville’s place in the top half of the Danske Bank Premiership come next month’s split and provided an insight to the Reds’ end-of-term fixtures.

Though the specific order of matches may not be formalised until as late as March 21, Paddy McLaughlin’s side know they are guaranteed home ties against Coleraine, Crusaders and Glentoran as well as a Windsor Park encounter with Linfield.

As things stand, four other sides retain a mathematical chance of securing the last remaining top-six berth, with Carrick and Larne in the mix for a potential trip to Solitude alongside a possible away clash with Ballymena United or Glenavon.

As ever, cliftonvillefc.net will endeavour to keep our supporters fully updated on all developments pertaining to the Club’s post-split schedule.
