Five alive

Cliftonville Football Club are delighted to announce new contracts and contract extensions for five members of Paddy McLaughlin’s first-team squad.

Levi Ives, Garry Breen, Liam Bagnall, Jamie Harney and Richard Brush have all signed new deals at Solitude.

Ives – who made his first appearance since September when he marked a return from injury in yesterday’s victory over Glenavon – has played 171 times for the Reds since his debut in October 2015.

Breen, Bagnall and Harney are, meanwhile, all closing in on a century of appearances since joining the Club in the summer of 2017, with Brush – who arrived in 2018 – marking his 64th game with a clean sheet in that defeat of the Lurgan Blues.

It goes without saying that boss McLaughlin is very pleased to have secured the quintet on new contracts, with the Red Army doubtless sharing in his delight that all five will be at Solitude for extended spells.
