Ronan Doherty’s strike in Cliftonville’s County Antrim Shield victory over Linfield has been named October’s Goal of the Month by the NI Football Writers’ Association.

The midfielder put the finishing touch on a delightful passing sequence that carried contributions from Ryan Curran, Aaron Donnelly, Conor McMenamin and Ronan Wilson to register his first goal for the Club and set the Reds on their way to the Semi Finals of the competition.
