One Final step

Cliftonville will face Glentoran in the Europa League Play-Off Final.

The game, which will be played at Solitude on Saturday (5.30pm), comes following the Reds’ sensational comeback victory over Coleraine in tonight’s Semi Final tie.

Twice trailing by two goals, Cliftonville hit back through Joe Gormley and Conor McMenamin before Ryan Curran’s ice-cool 97th minute penalty sent the tie into Extra Time.

A further two minutes had elapsed when Levi Ives put the Reds in front for the first time, with McMenamin wrapping things up with a composed finish to make it 5-3 in a stirring breakaway.

With the Glens getting the better of Glenavon in their own Semi-Final tie, Solitude will once again host the Play-Off decider for the third time in four seasons.

The fixture will be pay at the gate for Cliftonville supporters, however tickets will be required for the away end.
