Kicking and screening

Belfast’s Dublin Road cinema this week hosted the premiere of a film partially shot at Solitude and, ahead of The Keeper’s general release tomorrow, Cliftonville Football Club have two pairs of tickets to give away to our supporters.

A joint production by Munich-based Lieblingsfilm and Pistachio Pictures of London, ‘The Keeper’ – which sees actor David Kross in the lead role – includes scenes at our historic home and, if you’d like two tickets to use during the movie’s opening week, simply answer the following question: Which English Football Club’s stadium was represented by Solitude in The Keeper?

Tickets, which must be used between April 5-11 inclusive, are valid for The Movie House at Cityside, The Movie House on Dublin Road, Dundonald Omniplex and IMC Cinema in Omagh.

Just email your answer to competitions@188.166.149.59 before noon tomorrow (April 5) and you and a friend could enjoy a FREE viewing of the movie about the career of legendary German goalkeeper Bert Trautmann, which tells the story of how the former Nazi paratrooper overcame post-war opposition to his presence in England and rose to become a hero of the British game, famously helping Manchester City to FA Cup Final glory in 1956 by not letting the trivial matter of a broken neck prevent him from completing the game at Wembley Stadium.
