Sunday best for FDC stars

As part of Cliftonville FC’s commitment to developing the best young players possible, a number of our underage teams this morning commenced a new weekly training initiative.

Going forward, players from the Reds’ Under 14s right up to Cliftonville Strollers will report to Solitude every Sunday for double sessions comprising Strength & Conditioning programmes and a pitch-based run-out.

The Strollers return to action in Friday night’s clash with Under 18 Academy League leaders Ards, while our Under 16s also face their North Down counterparts when they continue their own title challenge on Saturday.

For their ongoing dedication to enhancing our Football Development Centre’s budding talents, the Club are naturally grateful to all the coaches and volunteers who continue to work so hard under the guidance of Marc Smyth for the benefit of Cliftonville’s stars of the future.
