Plugging away

The Reds Shop will be open at Solitude this evening, when supporters who have yet to snap up an away shirt will have another opportunity to do so – just in time for Christmas.

Such has been the demand for the new jersey that a number of sizes have sold out more than once since the strip was launched at the end of June and, though stock was fully replenished recently, all the indications are that many categories will soon sell out again with no guarantees of further deliveries.

Shop staff have been working round the clock to cater for supporters at home and abroad, with a host of replicas sold in-store or dispatched around the globe, and those fans who would like to bolster their personal collections (or secure a jersey for a loved one as a Christmas present) are encouraged to do so as soon as possible or risk missing out entirely, with this final batch proving similarly popular.

Representing our status as Ireland’s Oldest Football Club as we embark upon our 140th season, the strip comprises a white jersey with emerald green trim, collar and a chest-panel of shamrocks that promises to catapult this kit into iconic cachet among Reds fans, football enthusiasts and aficionados of Irish sporting history alike.

Complemented by emerald green shorts and socks, the reverse strip will not only be on sale from The Reds Shop between 7.30-8.30pm tonight and during our extended festive opening hours, but is also available for immediate online purchase.
