Congratulations are extended to Rory Donnelly, who has this morning been named the NI Football Writers’ Association’s Belleek Player of the Month for October.

The striker – who can add the accolade to the SkyBet League Two honour he won while on the books of Tranmere Rovers in February 2015 – returned to Cliftonville this summer and has enjoyed making up for lost time since his original departure back in the 2011/12 season.

After netting both goals in the Reds’ Premiership victory over Glentoran, the 25-year-old was also on target against Coleraine before taking his October tally to six strikes with last Saturday’s hat-trick versus Dungannon Swifts.
