Reds out to Strike gold

Cliftonville Ladies return to action in a North Belfast Derby clash with Crusaders Strikers at Solitude this evening (8pm).

The Reds began their season with a 4-0 victory over Ballymena United Allstars in the County Antrim Women’s Cup midway through last month, before commencing their Danske Bank Women’s Premiership campaign by beating Portadown 7-1.

Marissa Callaghan, who bagged seven goals across those two games, will be out to maintain her own fine start against a Crues side that has four points from two League outings to date, having defeated the Ports 1-0 in the aftermath of a scoreless draw with Glentoran Women at The Oval.
