Olympic cop a fixture change

Cliftonville Olympic’s George Wilson Cup Second Round tie with PSNI Olympic has been brought forward and will now be played at Solitude this Saturday.

Declan O’Hara’s side – who have won the trophy in each of the last two seasons – currently sit 11 points clear of Linfield Swifts at the top of the Premiership Development League but, with no fixtures remaining, must play a waiting game as the Blues contest their five remaining matches between now and May 1.

Focus therefore turns to their George Wilson Cup campaign and this Saturday’s game with the Police, which gets underway at 12pm, provides supporters with a welcome addition to their matchday options ahead of the senior team’s North Belfast Derby clash with Crusaders at Seaview later in the afternoon.
