Ladies get the Porty started

Cliftonville Ladies will begin the new Danske Bank Women’s Premiership season with a trip to face newly-promoted Portadown Ladies on Wednesday, April 18.

“We’re excited for the eagerly anticipated return of the Danske Bank Women’s Premiership next month,” said NI Football League Manging Director, Andrew Johnston.

“Our Women’s Premiership continues to grow every year and, following the dramatic finish to last season’s campaign, we are hoping that this year will be even better! Our thanks also go to Danske Bank for their continued support of the Women’s Premiership.”

Following that opening night tussle with the Ports, the Reds will host Crusaders on May 2 ahead of tackling Derry City Ladies a fortnight later, while their campaign ends with a September 26 home clash with Sion Swifts.
