Central defender Shaun joined from Institute in the summer of 2024 following a stellar campaign in the Championship.
After featuring in the Derry City underage set-up, Leppard joined Stute in 2017 and went on to produce a string of eye-catching performances in the Drumahoe outfit’s backline, named 2024 Championship Player of the Year at the NI Football Awards as well as being named in the division’s Team of the Year.
Voted Manager’s Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year and Supporters’ Player of the Year during his final campaign with Institute, Leppard was part of the side that reached the Promotion/Relegation Play-Offs in 2024 and, after sitting out most of his first season with Cliftonville after suffering an injury in the opening weeks of the campaign, returned with some stellar displays throughout 2025/26.
