A member of the Cliftonville Academy before joining Aston Villa in 2015, the midfielder – who featured for the Republic of Ireland at Under-21 level – made a welcome return to Solitude in December 2021, since when the former Galway United, Derry City and Crusaders man has enhanced his reputation as one of the most formidable and hard-working talents in the Premiership.
