A graduate of the Irish FA JD Academy established by Jim Magilton, goalkeeper Matthew has been capped by Northern Ireland at Under-16 and Under-17 level and joined Cliftonville’s senior set-up in the summer of 2026, enjoying a pre-season friendly appearance during a 1-0 victory over Armagh City before making his Premiership bow against Dungannon Swifts at the end of August.
