After emerging through the ranks of St Oliver Plunkett FC, Brian impressed during his first taste of Premiership football with Newry City before embarking on successful loan stints with Ballyclare Comrades throughout the 2023/24 and 2024/25 campaigns.
He signed for the Welders in July of last year and, during his brief stay at Blanchflower Stadium, scored 25 goals, collecting Championship Player of the Month awards in August and November before completing a January switch to the Reds.
An attacking talent who understandably attracted considerable Premiership interest during the current transfer window, the 21-year-old is this evening unveiled as Jim Magilton’s third January recruit and will be part of the Reds squad for Saturday’s Clearer Water Irish Cup fifth round tie with Dundela.
