Ben Wilson struck twice as Cliftonville put five unanswered goals past Finn Harps in this evening’s friendly at Solitude.
As was the case in last week’s defeat of Lisburn Distillery, a whirlwind start saw the Reds bank two goals inside the first two minutes; Wilson’s smart left-footed finish quickly followed up by a close-range header from Rory Hale.
Wilson pounced for the third before half-time, while a Jamie McDonagh cross was put into his own net by a Harps defender to make it 4-0.
The scoring was complete when Cliftonville’s Trialist won the ball in midfield and played an incisive pass through for Ronan Hale to confidently dispatch.
