Festival fever
The Reds Shop isn’t the only place you can lay your hands on one of our hugely popular Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann Béal Feirste jerseys.
In the countdown to the big weekend, we’re delighted to inform supporters that sales will also be conducted from the very heart of the Fleadh, with stocks supplied at McEnaney’s Bar on the Glen Road, St George’s Market and Falls Park.
These limited edition shirts have been crafted to mark our home city’s staging of the world’s largest celebration of traditional Irish music and culture, with Cliftonville fans around the world contributing to breathtaking purchase numbers since its official launch at our Family Fun Day on Sunday.
Available at a cost of £48 for Adults and £40 in Kids sizes, the slick ensembles come in two striking compositions with a predominantly Red effort offset by green and white adornment, accompanied by a White top garnished with emerald and orange trim.
The imminent arrival of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Belfast is acknowledged beneath the Club crest while, on the back, Cliftonville’s status as the island’s oldest Football Club is celebrated with ‘Ceannródaithe na hÉireann’ sloganing above imagery inspired by a late 19th century map of Ireland – which, as well as representing the era of our formation, also provides a timely nod to our founding father John McCredy McAlery, whose grave was rededicated at Balmoral Cemetery last weekend.
Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann will be hosted in Belfast for the very first time from August 2-9 and, if you’re planning on attending any events throughout the eagerly-anticipated festival, make sure you show your colours with pride by sporting one of these latest stylish additions to the Cliftonville collection, available online or at any of the outlets listed above.
