Cliftonville Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Ollie Samuels on loan from Middlesbrough.

The left-sided defender was part of Boro’s Academy set-up for more than a decade and, as well as featuring for the Club’s Under-18 and Under-21 sides, has also turned out at Premier League 2 level.

Having signed his first professional contract under the watchful eye of then-Teessiders boss Michael Carrick in April of last year, the 20-year-old is tonight unveiled as Jim Magilton’s eighth new signing of the summer and is set to take part in this evening’s friendly with Warrenpoint Town.
