Cliftonville’s pre-season programme continues when we formally welcome Newington back to Solitude tomorrow.
The Boyle Sports Championship side – who are, of course, now bossed by former Reds favourite Declan O’Hara – have returned to the home of Ireland’s Oldest Football Club in a groundsharing agreement for the 2026/27 campaign.
Having contested a behind-closed-doors friendly with Hibernian ahead of last week’s victory at Armagh City and a midweek win over Moyola Park, the Reds take on our nearest neighbours in a 2pm kick-off as the countdown to the new season continues to ramp up.
Cash turnstiles will be in operation at Solitude, where admission is set at £7 for Adults and £3 for Concessions.
Cliftonville v Newington
Saturday, July 18 (2pm)
