Wight on cue

Cliftonville Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Aaron Wightman.

A 22-year-old right-back who can also operate on the flank further up the park, Aaron emerged through the youth ranks at Glentoran, having joined the east Belfast side’s Academy at the age of six.

The former Northern Ireland Under-19 international made a total of 74 senior appearances for the Glens and quickly developed a reputation for a strong work ethic – an attribute Reds supporters are no doubt looking forward to sounding their own appreciation for during the season ahead.
